Original alusteel 'vlaai' mold as used by pastry chefs from the Southern province of Limburg.  Professional bakers prefer these pie pans because of their terrific heath transferring properties. We use these molds ourselves to bake traditional favorite pies like rijstevlaai (rice), kersenvlaai (cherry) and appelkruimelvlaai (apple crumble). This size is ideal for making '1 per person' pies.
